We were lying in bed, I was telling her stories, most of it I make up then we burst out laughing and tickling each other. I live for these kind of moments - with the limited time I have at home to be with her. Then the interesting tot conversation begins:
Pristine: Mama, you’re beautiful. (She’s caressing my face)
Me: Oh, thank you. (Kisses her, smothers her, sucked out all the smell out of her forehead, neck and cheeks…)
Pristine: (wiggling free) Wait, wait!
(I stopped and listened - although I wish I didn’t!)
Pristine: Mama, you’re beautiful. A little bit fat, but beautiful!

Oh gosh kids can be honest….
