Pristine’s school will be holding a concert on Wednesday and we’re pretty excited to go and see. Her class will have a sort of play and some singing and supposedly, their parts are kept secret from the parents so we will be in for a big surpirse. Yeah, right! Asking a bubbly 5 year old to keep a secret is the same as asking a fish to breathe on land!
Of course she told us what they will be doing and what part she will be playing. She’ll be a fairy, that’s it and they’re singing The Sound of Music’s So long, farewell song. Hmmm, I have to find out how a fairy is connected to The Sound of Music!
I bought her costume of a pink and white dress and some fairy wings of course. She is delighted! Really, what’s with little girls and fairies, wands, wings and the color pink?
You know what I think is missing in her costume - a flower crown.
but she’s so pretty! i’m now officially itching to have a new baby - girl!
