Pristine is a huge fan of Krispy Kreme and her fondness of the sweet stuff is inevitable whenever we go to a gasoline station to fill up. Here in Dubai, some gasoline stations (mostly the ones we frequent to) have a Krispy Kreme shop so almost always, she’ll notice and say, “Can you buy me one vanilla donut, please?”
Curiously, she says “vanilla” for everything non-chocolote, which of course is ok if the thing is really vanilla like Vanilla Ice Cream or the like. Once we ordered cake for her birthday and the cake shoppe lady asked me if I wanted a chocolate cake or vanilla flavored one. From then on, it stuck to her that all things non-chocolate are called Vanilla, thus plain Krispy Kreme donuts are vanilla donuts in her vocabulary.
Anyway, I like Krispy Kreme too, I mean who doesn’t? And hey, don’t worry if you are dieting, it’s said to be zero calories — yeah, right there, that part in the middle. It’s zero calories ladies, so go on, have it!
