I finally bought the Indiana Jones Adventure pack DVD. After watching the 4th Indy movie during the world premier, I must admit, I wanted more archaeological adventure overdose too.
I think the first time I saw Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark was when I was in the 1st grade elementary. I was able to recall some scenes, including the melting faces towards the end. Pristine watched the movies with us while sitting on my lap. Boy, did she have so many questions during the entire run of the movie!
Watching the movie again, I wonder why this was such a big hit back then. I did not find it interesting and action packed - I even like the 4th new Indy movie a lot better!
Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom delivered some actions I wanted in an action-adventure film. Pristine liked this and as of this writing, she has viewed it three times. We have to say no when she asked to see it again this morning though because she had been having dreams and screaming, “Don’t take my heart!” (referring to the Thugee ritual in the movie where a man took out the heart of another by using his bare hands dug into the chest)
Indy’s lady was annoying but as whiny and annoying as she is, she surely captured the director, Steven Spielberg’s heart those days. They got married after the movie wrapped up and still married now.
Of the three Indy movies included in the DVD pack, I like the last one, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade best. I think Sean Connery’s portrayal of Indy’s father is so convincing although he is just12 years senior of Harrison Ford. So many lessons in this movie too, I had a wonderful time sharing those to the babe. I also like their rapport and bond as father and son. Loads of humor and action too.
So, which Indy movie do you like best?

I am all over the The Last Crusade. I have yet to go see the final yet, I have heard such mixed reviews, and Im holding off till the theaters are not as jam packed at least!
I loved the last one, it’s a great one for the kids to see. We had an Indy party and watched the first one. All the kids went outside to play, lol.
my favorite is the third one - The Last Crusade … it’s the funniest, I think… but I haven’t seen the 4th one!
