Thoughts on turning thirty one

As this post goes live, I will be turning 31.

Some years ago, I was wondering how it would feel to be on this side of 30 and now I am finally here. I thought people beyond thirty must feel, talk, laugh and act differently. But I still feel the same. Like they say, age is just a number so this age thing is not bugging me so much.

Personally, I think 31 is a great age. I have addressed issues some women start to panic with. I am married, have a career and a wonderful kid. I am not out in the bar hopping at night looking for a prospective date or soul mate.

Three whole decades plus 1/10 of life on earth. How do I feel? I feel great and I know it only gets better.

I hope you had a great birthday. I didn’t have any negative thoughts when I turned 31, but I have wondered about 40 as it comes my way (I turned 37 last month). :)
