she might be off to Singapore
mommy thoughts March 13th, 2008My sister is in Manila right now hurdling for something she badly wants. She was one of the examinees who qualified to take the final exams for a scholarship in Singapore. While she was preparing for the exams, memories from 12 years ago came back. I was 19, same age as her now when I took the exams to study in Japan. I passed and the experience I had there was life changing.
Ariane, my sister is 13 years younger than I am. With that kind of age gap, I feel as though she is my own daughter already. She shares with me almost everything - every happiness and every woes. Lucky girl she has someone to coach her through puberty, teen life and school!
I hope she gets accepted to study in Singapore. That would be one experience of a lifetime.
