As of this writing, my husband is somewhere where it’s 5 hours ahead of my time. He will be away for a week.

Up until he bade us goodbye last night, I never thought of him being away would be a great deal. It would be too corny to say I’d miss him so much I’d go crazy. We have passed that stage. I know I would be too busy running a house, taking care of a kid alone for a week, never mind mentioning, I would be too preoccupied to go home in one piece every day as I will be driving to and from work for the entire work week. I had my driving license for six years now and had been driving in Japan pretty much. But to compare the traffic situation and the manners of the drivers on the road there and here in Dubai would be to resemble comparison of classic and rock music. Oh, I hope you know what I mean!

The morning drive is easy but at night the drivers seems to get aggressive and the traffic is at its worst. So my main concern right now is to drive safely to and from work other than getting mushy of myself being husband-less for a week - a first since we got married.

I would need a lot of prayers and good luck!
