driving better

Gray Cee on Dec-11-2007

It’s been three days since I took complete control of the car and so far, so good. I’ve had pulse racing moments on the road especially at night but I am so glad I am able to come home safely. Driving was not too bad afterall, it was either the other Dubai drivers have become better drivers or I have become one of them! No!

I am not afraid to change lanes anymore. Of course I am extra careful when doing so. I drove for 6 years in our tiny little town in Japan where there are only two lanes each way. Here in Dubai,
there are at least 4-5 lanes. But just like any anything, it takes practice, lots of it, to be perfect or at least to be alive at the end of the day. I am more confident and in fact, I went out for lunch to the nearby bookstore and bought another Paulo Coelho book and a beautiful book for the little one. I can’t wait to see her reaction tonight and to be able to do that, I must drive again with the aim to arrive safe and sound.

Funny but I have this same thought- that drivers have become better drivers or I have become one of them - while driving these days. Good luck sa days when M is not with the family.
