This blog is all about my journey through parenting. An honest to goodness account of the joys of motherhood, the bumps on the road and the immense joy my child brought to us since she came to our life one winter day in 2003.

This site is dedicated to my first born who helped eased my way to being a parent by being the everyday good girl that she is!

My babe has grown up dramatically from a baby talking chubby cheek cabbage patch kid to a little toddler who loves Harry Potter and the movie The Princess Diaries (thus the name of this blog, I guess). The babe would also rather wrestle with mom, sing songs with her, shake her booty to Shakira’s song than play with dolls.

She’s never a cry baby, only when she is really hurt! She continues to give me the inspiration and strength to go on everyday.

Previously living in Japan (the babe was born there), we now live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can read about our desert life here.
