When I was a child I ate the cream first, now I just take a bite.

Did you know there's actually an American children's song talking about how to eat an Oreo? "Do you know exactly how to eat an Oreo? Well to do it, you unscrew it, very fast." (Not exactly great literature is it, but it is an authentic piece of Americana.)

I eat them as they are - no separating them. My girls on the other hand eat the middle first. I have no idea where they learned this either.
