Today Pristine went to her swimming class again. My mother was worried this morning and asking me to call Pristine’s teacher and ask her not to let Pristine into the water because she just recovered from a very bad flu, accompanied by the usual cough and asthma.

What a tough job being a teacher. Telling a toddler no to swimming will be like telling a normal person to stop breathing. It is next to impossible. I told my mother that I’m not going to subject my daughter’s teacher to that torture and Pristine is feeling well already. I asked her directly and she replied, “no problem mom!”

How can I ignore that enthusiasm. The girl loves the water.
